IM NORMA I FINALE SVJETSKOG VETERANSKOG KUPA ZA BORISA GRBCA!

Pobjedom na natjecanju ICCF Veterans Word Cup 11, Semi-Final 6 (VWC11/SF6)  naš Boris Grbac osvojio je svoju prvu IM normu i osigurao plasman u finale 11-og svjetskog veteranskog kupa.

Average rating is 2388 (rounded up), so the tournament is category 6 and it is possible to earn IM and SIM norms. If the tournament starts during the 1^st quarter of 2022, 2022/1 ratings will be applied.

Time allowed:

This is a server event.
The start date was 28/02/2022.
There is no end date.
ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 50 days with duplication after 20 days is used.
If a player exceeds allowed thinking time in any way, the player will automatically be scored with a loss. Under some circumstances all of the player’s games will subsequently be cancelled (if not already rated).
45 days of leave per year are available to each player.
There is no special leave in this event.
Linear conditionals can be entered.
This tournament allows claims based on the seven piece tablebase.
Ties are broken by the Baumbach tie breaking rule (see ICCF rule 1.3.4.2).
If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the server.
Other participants can see the games live after half of the games are finished in the event. Live transmission is delayed by 5 moves.
